Nepinae (Neppy-nay)

I look like a leaf or part of a plant,
And lie in wait for prey.
My whippy tail is really a tube,
For breathing under water.
I don’t move fast, except my arms,
And my patience lasts all day.
So beetles and fish have to watch not to go,
Where they shouldn’t oughta!
